In ancient history, there existed elites in Persia, Egypt and Greece, whose profession was to do with bordering the agricultural lands after river floods. After entrance of the Arabs to the Persia and encountering these people acting as “Measurers” in ancient Mesopotamia, the word “Handaseh” which was Arabic expression of “Measurement” was added to their glossary. Gradually, this word turned into “Geometry” including all sciences dealing with measurement through drawing shapes and the one possessing this knowledge, would be called “Engineer”.
Name of the company “Pars Geometry Consulting Engineers (PGC)” is a combination of the two words of “Geometry” and “Pars”, addressing outstanding knowledge of the “Persians” in Geometry Science.
Logo of our company is also inspired by Tachara Palace’s gate (the first palace built by Darius in Takht-e Jamshid complex).
Issuing the command for completing construction of Suez Canal, can be deemed as the other acts of Darius, which is in agreement with main activity area of PGC dealing with marine works.
